Havering’s first community hub, in Harold Hill, opens this June 8th and will be ready to welcome residents.
The flagship hub will temporarily be based in the old Housing Office at Chippenham Road, RM3 8YF, until the Harold Hill Library location is ready later in the year.
Initially the hub will be open on Tuesday for Advice and Support, and Thursdays for Employment Support - Between 1pm - 5pm
Havering Council has teamed up with the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP,) Peabody, Christians Against Poverty, Tapestry, The Baby Bank HQ, and many other organisations to deliver a wide range of services and provide support to anyone that needs it.
The hub will also provide a community food shop, managed by Peabody, which will help families and individuals make their money go further, providing access to good quality food for less.
