We will be at the Harold Hill Community Hub every Thursday from 1-5pm

What support can we offer?

Each participant is assigned an advisor and receives regular one to one support with:

Job searching / applications

CV review and writing

Interview practice

Support to improve confidence and self esteem

Access to vocational and functional skills training to help them progress

Support and regular contact once in work to maximise sustainment

We also have a wide variety of jobs and work placements ready for participants to apply to across London.

Meet Darren

Darren lost his job and found himself homeless.

He started staying with friends but had no money, was feeling extremely low and didn’t know where to get help. He heard about the Curve Community Centre through other homeless people and popped in to see what we do here.

 Darren met members of the Team who were able to provide re-assurance about his job options, update his CV and provide him with a much needed food voucher to tide him over as he could not afford to eat.

The team provided support with interview skills and applications and were able to put him forward for one of our direct employer opportunities through our Employment Opportunities Team.

Darren is now earning over £18k per annum and can afford to rent his own home .
