We provide care and support for 17,500 people across London, Essex and the South East.
We also have a varied health, wealth and wellbeing programme to encourage our customers to look after themselves better, build up self-esteem and get more out of their local communities.
Some of our customers might have learning difficulties and want to live a more independent life. Some could be young people leaving care who are ready for their next step. And some people just need a few hours of extra support a week to manage their home.
We treat every person as an individual, creating a support plan just for them, so that they can live more independently, with more dignity, more choice and more control.
Our personalised approach enables people to choose their own package of care: it’s been particularly appealing for younger people. And our initiative to help care and support customers get into work has been recognised nationally – and resulted in some of them finding work with us.
Whatever it may be, we do our best to provide the care and support that’s right for each and every customer.
We do this by treating every person as an individual and by always believing we can make a difference for them. Meaning that our customers are able to live the lives they want, with more independence, more dignity, more choice and more control.
The support we provide depends on the needs of the individual but includes:-
- helping people to manage money and pay bills;
- providing 24 hour care;
- putting people in contact with other local services that can help;
- adapting someone’s home to make it more suitable to live in;
- helping people to stay fit and well;
- working with people who need extra help to manage your home and stay independent.
